In this project case study, I will be sharing the logo iterations i have made for a Social Media Management firm called Sunbeam, which is a forward-thinking social media management firm dedicated to helping businesses shine brighter in the digital landscape. These are NOT the final logos, just the conceptualization process.

Understanding the Brand

  • Research & Analysis: Conducted a thorough study of Sunbeam’s industry, target audience, competitors, and unique value proposition.

  • Defining Brand Attributes: Identified core values such as creativity, vibrancy, innovation, and reliability that reflect Sunbeam’s mission and services.

Ideation and Concept Development

  • Brainstorming: Explored visual metaphors related to the brand name (e.g., beams of light, radiance) and its function (social media, connectivity, storytelling).

  • Sketching Initial Ideas: Created rough sketches of logo concepts inspired by the brand’s essence and personality.

Meaning and Conceptualization

  • Assigning Symbolism: Attached meaning to each iteration to reflect Sunbeam’s identity:

Outcome

Creating logo iteration concepts allowed me to explore multiple creative directions, ensuring the final design effectively represents the brand's identity. It facilitated the refinement of ideas, enhancing adaptability across different mediums. By showcasing various interpretations of brand values, iterations ensure a thoughtful and well-rounded process that results in a versatile and impactful logo.
